Subject[URGENT ASSISTANCE REQUESTED] Summary and thanks
The general consensus of the people on the list here was that this may have
been a manifestation of the teardrop bug. We have begun testing the 2.0.32
kernel on the affected machines and it appears that we are back in business
again.

Thanks to all who responded, especially Alan Cox and Dave Miller, who I am
sure have other things that they could be doing instead of responding to my
panicked ramblings. Makes me proud to have been a Linux user and advocate
for so long (since kernel version 0.12).

Tom
