PnP is not 'satanic' - the problem is the current Windows/DOS
implementation, and the earlier PnP-BIOSes (there are still
some bad ones, but they are getting better).

My goal is to have some PnP support by the end of the year.
But since I do this as a hobby, I can't promise any results
or the meeting of any deadline. I hack for fun, and boy
have I learned a lot and yet still have lightyears to go.
