Hi all,

I recently bought a Compaq Deskpro 166Mhz Pentium / PCI bus with 16MB.
When i recompiled the kernel for 586 (i used to have a 486) with PCI
support the following message showed up during the booting of the new
kernel (1.3.85) (i also tried some older ones)

ide_setup: hdc=cdrom
Console: 16 point font, 400 scans
Console: colour VGA+ 80x25, 1 virtual console (max 63)
pcibios_init : BIOS32 Service Directory structure at 0x000fa000
pcibios_init: entry in high memory, unable to access
pci_init: no BIOS32 detected
Calibrating delay loop.. ok - 66.76 BogoMIPS
Memory: 14900k/16384k available (648k kernel code, 384k reserved, 452k data)

Can somebody explain to me what these messages mean?
Dispite these messages the kernel works fine

Thanks in advance
