Linux People:
Here is an odd bug report with Kernel 1.3.73. Although this kernel is relativly outdated, the problem I am about to report only occured after running the kernel for two weeks, so it may not have been noticed and thus fixed in recent kernel versions.
The problem is that ttyp0 is somehow broken on my system after it had been up and running for 14 days. If an incomming telnet connection gets allocated to ttyp0, the login program starts to run, but only the first line ("Welcome to Gryphon (Linux 1.3.73) ttyp0") gets shown. The login process essentially hangs indefinatly (or at least for several hours.)
Needless to say, all the other terminals work just fine and there are no other programs running on my system that are using that terminal. Is there any debugging info I should collect before I reboot the sytem?
