    That's a tricky question :)

    Qualcomm platforms expose much of the hardware in a manner that's
    similar to a VM, there's an extensive irreplaceable hypervisor in
    place and the user can only boot Linux at EL1..

    So, I guess the answer here is "somewhat bare metal" :/
