Couple of process things. Seems you have this thread with an
in reply to set to a different thread.

1) Obviously helps if it's the right thread ;)
2) Don't do it anyway. Threads get very deep if we take a few versions
for a driver so much better to just rely on naming and start a new
thread for each version.
