You need to check that the width and height are not 0 (that would make no sense).

I'd drop this comment. Not because it is wrong as such, but it is
incomplete (there are more of these types today) and I think these
types (most of them in staging) need a bit of a cleanup. Something
I want to look at for the next kernel cycle.
