Subject[PATCH] st: remove redundant pointer STbuffer

Pointer STbuffer is being assigned but is never used hence it is
redundant and can be removed.

Cleans up clang warning:
warning: variable 'STbuffer' set but not used [-Wunused-but-set-variable]
