I agree that it introduces confusion.

Yet, there are many out of LED subsystem files to update:

find -name "*.c" -o -name "*.h" | xargs grep "enum led_brightness" |
awk -F: '{print $1}' | sort -u | grep -v "leds" | wc -l

returns 87.
