.. and Konstantin just noticed that I had forgotten to push out the actual tag, so the scripts that generate the diffs and tar-balls didn't run.
So the git trees contained the up-to-date code, but no tag, and non-git users didn't see rc2 at all.
Tag pushed now too, and the old-fashioned patches should thus hopefully be generated any moment now.
