I can confirm that I am not running nested virt, the host is running directly on the APU. I also have three other machines that are running flawlessly with 4.14, and another virtualization host, a "real" server with a somewhat dated AMD Opteron 1389 that has the same issue. The machine that first showed the issue is Intel, so we are not having a vendor issue.
