Hi Imran,

[also build test WARNING on v4.10-rc2]

url: https://github.com/0day-ci/linux/commits/Imran-Khan/soc-qcom-Add-SoC-info-driver/20170105-002914
config: arm64-allyesconfig (attached as .config)
compiler: aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc (Debian 6.1.1-9) 6.1.1 20160705
reproduce:
wget https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/wfg/lkp-tests.git/plain/sbin/make.cross -O ~/bin/make.cross
chmod +x ~/bin/make.cross
# save the attached .config to linux build tree
make.cross ARCH=arm64

All warnings (new ones prefixed by >>):

>> WARNING: drivers/built-in.o(.text+0x472870): Section mismatch in reference from the function qcom_socinfo_init() to the function .init.text:of_flat_dt_get_machine_name()
The function qcom_socinfo_init() references
the function __init of_flat_dt_get_machine_name().
This is often because qcom_socinfo_init lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of of_flat_dt_get_machine_name is wrong.
