I don't mind as long as I can call it as early as:
->x86_64_start_reservations |->start_kernel |->check_bugs |->identify_boot_cpu |->identify_cpu |->mcheck_cpu_init |->do_machine_check |->mce_report_event |->mce_schedule_work
because this is the earliest callchain I can see.
