As an aside, is there any chance of a perf@vger.kernel.org list?
My work email becomes a little useless when subscribed to the full LKML firehose, so while I'd like to keep up with perf core changes I don't subscribe. In this case I stumbled across these patches by chance when browsing an archive, then had to have the messages bounced to my account.
Having a dedicated list would make things easier for myself, at least.
Mark.
