The switch gets a little bit too big (vertical-wise). Maybe just
splitting it into two lines is enough to clarify its purpose.
How about:

int tmp_var = PageActive(page) ? ISOLATE_ACTIVE : ISOLATE_INACTIVE
if (!(mode & tmp_var))
ret;
