Doing a "cat /dev/input/mouse0" (char device 13,32) will verify that a mouse is also emulated; characters should appear if you move it.
or
Doing a $ cat /dev/input/mouse (which is char device 13,32) will verify that a mouse is also emulated; characters should appear if you move it.
