-EINVAL signals bad/invalid parameters.
That's NOT what is happening here.

Exactly my point. The scancode in question is 100% valid and mapable,
yet the kernel is rejecting it as -EINVAL. Incorrect.

BUG. Regression. Breaks userspace. Must get fixed.
