Sounds like <http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13620>. If
I'm right, it will go away if you blacklist the i2c_i801 module. E.g.

echo "blacklist i2c_i801" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
