Charitable Opportunities
The World Hongming Foundation provides charitable opportunities to the general public worldwide. All donations are tax-deductible. All donors will receive some gifts, as well as the benefits indicated on its website. Sponsored by the World Hongming Foundation, the First World Hongming Philosophy Congress was successfully held at Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA from July 22 to 23, 2004. Since July 2, 2004, Taiwan people have been falling in a natural disaster caused by Typhoon and hill slides. The World Hongming Foundation calls for Emergent Assistance Needed to Relieve Taiwan People from Disasters. See www.abnews.us/en/2004-090/16.htm for details.
On July 1, 2004, the World Hongming Foundation received an official invitation from the Central Government of China for participating in the 2004 Chinese Forum of Charitable Development and Public Benefits, which will be held at the National Congress Hall of China, Beijing from November 6 to 7, 2004. Professor Michael Saso, on behalf of the World Hongming Foundation, will participate in this Forum and make charitable contributions to China.
