    I think I have pretty fast hardware (e.g. dual g5 18.GHZ and P4 4.2 GHz),
    and for me a kernel compile still takes far too long.

    But if you want to buy me a 512p Altix and the electricity bill so I can
    use gcc 3.3 all power to you!
