SubjectRE: /proc/cpuinfo shows only 2 processors on dual P4-Xeon system

Processors are LOCAL apics, not IO APICS.

Your system may have 4 IO APICs but that is a coincidence. There should
have been some LAPIC lines, and these are the processors.
