Okay, maybe it's just me being too lazy and ignorant to teach myself morse code, but I'd advocate ksmgdump by Willy Tarreau instead (http://miaif.lip6.fr/~tarreau/kmsgdump/) - it lets you save the oops to a floppy or print it. ;)
And it does beep and blink the leds which seems a minimum requirement for a basic bell-and-a-whistle feature these days...
