It does as long as those hourly snapshots are the official kernel. If the snapshots are different than what's available at kernel.org then the problem is still there.
We need to have more frequent releases so the current kernel is available to everyone, including non-bk users. It doesn't matter to me what it's called (snapshots, -pre, regular releases 2.5.X).
