Subjectkernel 2.4.19-pre3 locks solid at boot for Intel machine check

(sorry for the dupe if any, mail not reliable here today)

I just tried plain 2.4.19-pre3 and it locks just after:

where it display with 2.4.17-0.8 (rawhide):
