    That got stamped out. swapon will fail if the file isn't fully
    instantiated on disk:

    {

    if (block == 0)
    goto bad_bmap;
    ...

    bad_bmap:
    printk(KERN_ERR "swapon: swapfile has holes\n");
    ret = -EINVAL;
