Since when it is decided by community? It's not a democracy. You don't like it - maintain your tree and accept/reject whatever you want.
I find plonk-by-domain silly, but the contents of filters is the private business of person using them. Period. We've been through that quite a few times when Alan-uses-*R*S threads appeared on the list. Enough, already.
