Hi,
I get the following error when trying to boot 2.4.0-test8 on my sparc 2:
Cannot find dvma for ESP0's SCSI ESP: Total of 1 ESP hosts found, 0 actually in use. scsi : 0 hosts. scsi : detected total. sunlance.c:v2.00 11/Sep/99 Miguel de Icaza (miguel@nuclecu.unam.mx) eth0: LANCE 08:00:20:0f:73:f7 eth1: LANCE 08:00:20:0f:73:f7 request_module[scsi_hostadapter]: Root fs not mounted request_module[scsi_hostadapter]: Root fs not mounted
but it works fine in 2.2.14 :
esp0: IRQ 3 SCSI ID 7 Clk 20MHz CCF=4 TOut 167 NCR53C90A(esp100a) ESP: Total of 1 ESP hosts found, 1 actually in use. scsi0 : Sparc ESP100A (NCR53C90A) scsi : 1 host. Is this a bug in 2.4.0-test8 or are there parameters I need to pass to the kernel in silo to get this to work with 2.4.0-test8? or did i forget to compile in something?
