Hello James & Richard , Just which version of Bind/named are
you running ? If is one of the older ones you may want to
use 8.2.2-p5 just for security reasons . If it is an 4.x.x
series then try 4.9.7 again for security reasons .
Reason I asked is that it appears that just after a clearing of
some stale cached records that the 'trying to ...' messages
began appearing . I vaguily remember a memory problem with
one of the 8.x.x series and there were several with 4.x.x series .
