Hi, here's a crash report.
[1.] One line summary of the problem:
Linux-2.2.17pre19 has crashed (with Oops).
[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
Linux-2.2.17pre19 has crashed. The system wasn't connected to a network, so I can't say, wether it still was reachable via a network. Unfortunaly somebody unexperianced was working at the machine and he didn't know about Magic SysRQ keys, so he just rebooted.
[4.] Kernel version (from /proc/version):
Linux version 2.2.17pre19 (root@privat) (gcc version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)) #2 Thu Aug 24 18:03:13 CEST 2000
[5.] Output of Oops.. message (if applicable) with symbolic information resolved (see Documentation/oops-tracing.txt)

[7.] Environment
It's a Debian 2.2 system used as a dialup workstation. It's running XFree86 (3.3.6) all the time. No special programs were running.
[7.1.] Software (add the output of the ver_linux script here)

This should be all the modules, which were loaded during the crash, except vfat and fat.
[7.5.] Other information that might be relevant to the problem (please look in /proc and include all information that you think to be relevant):
The hd's settings are adjusted with 'hdparm -X66 -m16 -c1 /dev/hda'. /proc/ide/hda/model says: WDC AC26400B. 'hdparm' reports the following:
/dev/hda: multcount = 16 (on) I/O support = 1 (32-bit) unmaskirq = 0 (off) using_dma = 1 (on) keepsettings = 0 (off) nowerr = 0 (off) readonly = 0 (off) readahead = 8 (on) geometry = 784/255/63, sectors = 12594960, start = 0
I'm not sure, but the soundcard _might_ have caused the problem. (under win98 the system turned even more unstable after the sound card was installed.) It's a 'Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22/24 [CrystalClear SoundFusion Audio Accelerator'.

Would any information would be helpful or is there something I could do?
