SubjectRe: abstract file (support multi-part)
If the VFS expects every file to be multi-part, then it still only
needs one generic interface to filesystem backends, one that
recognizes that traditional unix files simply don't have very
many parts.

This seems more maintainable than "Aieee, wierd filesystem!" special
cases in the VFS.

Regard,
