    I didn't have any coffee today, but I think you need the 2.4.0 version of
    pppd. Look at the CHANGES file.

    Also with RH, ppp-watch could be a major pain in the ass. I've modified
    the script of one of my client's machines so that ppp-watch isn't used
    anymore.
