Odd. It looks as if that ninth port is more or less hard coded to be at
0x0206 after the first one.

Don't you get one more line with something like

hde: ST328040A, 28040 MB w/xxxkB Cache, CHS=xxxxx/xxx/xx

?

ide2=0xb400,0x0 ide3=0xc000,0x0

ide2=0xb400,0xb006 ide3=0xc000,0xbc06
