Make that a definite SOFAR. It turns out that I get to ping though it, but it produces errors and drops by the thousands per second. No I'm not exagerating that. After being up for about 2 mins I had approximately 300K dropps and errors. In the same time I had 3K TX packets (no errors). I did replace my cable and test it to make sure.
