In the mean time I've compiled 2.3.48. The same happens there too.

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/ife/t3/sailer/tmp4/linux-2.3.48/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -m32 -pipe -mno-fpu -fcall-used-g5 -fcall-used-g7 -fno-strict-aliasing -D__SMP__ -o check_asm check_asm.c
check_asm.c: In function `main':
check_asm.c:10: warning: implicit declaration of function `printf'
./check_asm >> asm_offsets.h
/usr/ife/t3/sailer/tmp4/linux-2.3.48/include/asm/asm_offsets.h is unchanged
