well, I could do a shameless plug and recommend my own :)

(it is a part of LDP on www.linuxdoc.org but LDP copy is out of date, I
will send them an update later...)

also, read the file Documentation/kernel-docs.txt in the kernel sources --
it lists lots of things (including the above).
