SubjectRe: Data corruption reading IDE CD-ROM in 2.2.x

Split the devices over two channels..........
Neither play well togather.

needs to be

hda: WDC AC418000D, ATA DISK drive
hdc: SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-140F, ATAPI CDROM drive

Almost a sure bet that WDC timings are not compatable with SAMSUNG and so
is the converse!!

Do the change and if it goes away, this would be expected.
If it stays, then "SAMSUNG" needs a work around.
