I would like to compile a SMP-aware kernel, but the Slackware versions I'm using (3.3 and 3.6) do not have "make menuconfig" options for multi-processors. How do I configure a kernel for multi-processor, and how many apps on the OS will actually take advantage of more than 1 CPU?
