SubjectTwo Oops with aic7xxx in 2.2.10 (not overclocked!)
Hello!

I still get reproducable oopses with kernel 2.2.10 (SuSE 6.2), now
without overclocking the CPU:

Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 04 Lun: 00
Vendor: CONNER Model: CFP4207S 4.28GB Rev: 1524
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

Ethernet controller: DEC DC21140 (rev 34).
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 11. Master Capable.
Latency=32. Min Gnt=20.Max Lat=40.
I/O at 0xc000 [0xc001].
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xd9800000 [0xd9800000].

The first oops ('oops') appears after a fsck of the HD (I have an IDE
and a SCSI disk).

My hardware problem with my SCSI-disk was a termination problem (I think
a should start herding sheeps, as I checked the termination twice and
believed it to be ok).

The second oops ('oops2') happens, when the network driver is
about to be loaded. This happens only after a fsck and not when booting
normally.

If DOS means "Denial Of Service" what means MS-DOS?
And why should I tell it to "win"?scsi: 1 hosts.
