[root@mea-2 /root]# modprobe -v ide-probe /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.3.18ac5m2/block/cmos-probe.o /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.3.18ac5m2/block/ide-probe.o [root@mea-2 /root]# lsmod Module Size Used by ide-probe 6520 0 cmos-probe 500 0 [ide-probe] ide-cd 21472 0 ide-mod 47672 0 [ide-probe ide-cd] cdrom 25724 0 [ide-cd] 3c59x 18284 1 (autoclean) tulip 31140 1 (autoclean)
[root@mea-2 linux]# cat /proc/devices ..... Block devices: 2 fd 8 sd 9 md
