Well it is certainly not a SMP machine only bug, because I am running a single Pentium 200 machine. I have compiled it myself without SMP support, because somewhere I had read that it was slowing the system when run on a NON-SMP machine.
About the RH6.0 specifics; Dunno cause I also run RH6+ TTYL. --
