I have this also, I thought I was the only one having some misterious
plroblems.
Reading this gives me a relief...

Well it is certainly not a SMP machine only bug, because I am running a
single Pentium 200 machine.
I have compiled it myself without SMP support, because somewhere I had
read that it was slowing the system when run on a NON-SMP machine.

About the RH6.0 specifics; Dunno cause I also run RH6+
TTYL.
