Yep, I remember, I read this some time ago somewhere.
Here, I have four machines with the VIA Apollo Chipset running, two of them with kernel 2.2.11 and two of them with 2.3.15-pre2, and all of them work without any problems.
Btw: peer-concurency is turned on on every machine.
