I am using the absolute latest BIOS... 2.02 I think. It recognizes Celerons. Which I removed the context of the "to see if it behaves exactly like it did before"... that was the original RH 6.0 released kernel. I used the aic7xxx up through 2.2.10-ac4 without problems.
