I realized that this is indeed accurate based on the structure
elements. Is this the best naming for things, or the best explaination?

I am not developer, but I have been reading kernel code now for about a
year and reading the pre-patches in hopes I can help someday soon. This
kind of thing throws your head for a look for a second or so.
