Hi everybody
ok, here's a simple description of my problem :
i have a SCSI burner
if i do mount /dev/scd0 /cdrom cd /cdrom rpm -Uvh <any-rpm-package>
i usually get an error, like 'cpio : invalid magic number' and sometimes files (like mpeg or others) are corrupted when copying them....
now, if i do :
mount /dev/scd0 /cdrom cd /cdrom cp <any-file> /tmp cd .. umount cdrom
then the file is ok !!!!! somebody has an explanation ?
