That sounds like you didnt include <asm/io.h> rather than 2.0->2.2 porting
problem. Also check you are compiling with -O2 or -finline-functions

Linux Magazine has a pair of articles I wrote. The deal we did is that in
90 days I get them back to do as I like with. I will be submitting them to
Linus at that point for the Documentation dir.
