Wow, that's really cool. Although it is a bit unrelated to what you're just talking about, with Ingo's patch, if you warmboot from Windows 98 (and I suspect 95 but I don't have that handy), Linux will complain that the FPU is using the old IRQ 13 reporting and halt because it gets confused by it.
