NTFS has everything we need. Security data was recently decoded. Symbolic links are in the Windows NT beta, implemented somewhat like Hurd translators are. Hard links are supported. Case-sensitive filenames are supported. We have devfs now.
Oh, NTFS has file auditing support and ACLs that are far better than anything proposed for Linux.

I thought the VMS security features posted here looked useful. VMS also has file record and transaction support.
