Well, I know a member of my local user group who would quite possibly wish to incorporate caps into a security-enhanced Linux distribution he is developing, especially in light of an easy upgrade path to a true fs-based solution.

Yes, my goals were just to completely develop the idea, and for people to fully _understand_ the idea; it appears you understand it quite well, and merely reject it on understandable grounds. Which is fine, and I appreciate your feedback.
