The almost exact error is:
kernel panic skput:over:0481b97c:243 in swapper task - not syncing
...at this point the machine is completely deadlocked and we're forced to reboot.
It is a Celeron 300A with 64 megs of RAM, it serves as a dedicated WWW/SMB/FTP/SQL/SMTP/POP3/IMAP/IPMASQ.
Stock Redhat 5.2 kernel.
This is an Enterprise solution for a very important client, we would appreciate any help- even the smallest.
Here's some various info on the hardware from Linux:
[root@corp]:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 cpu : 686 model : Celeron (Mendocino) vendor_id : GenuineIntel stepping : 0 fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid : yes wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 sep mtrr pge mca cmov 16 17 mmx 24 bogomips : 299.83 [root@corp]:~# free total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 63140 52780 10360 26648 27940 14004 -/+ buffers/cache: 10836 52304 Swap: 65640 12 65628 [root@corp]:~#
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
