SubjectRe: multiply files in one (was GNU/Linux stance by Richard Stallman)

: And if you have 200 small files spread about in a pseudo-tarball of 4000 files?

And what going out for a walk means you _might_ get hit by a truck?
Does that mean you don't go out for a walk?

The only places where I've ever heard of 4000 files in one directory
is net news - which is a place where this approach has worked very
well indeed.
